Yep, you read that right.  M.A.C. is launching 30 permanent nail polish shades featuring a variety of colors and finishes.  We’re talking cremes, metallics, frosts and more.  But hold on, that’s not all!  In addition to that, they will release an additional 35 seasonal shades.  That’s 65 colors in all…can you stand it?!
The collections will retail for $16 a bottle and will be available exclusively at MAC stores and Nordstroms in the U.S. beginning July 5th.  Other retailers will begin selling the collections sometime in August and will launch internationally …

Just in time for some summer fun, Ciaté, UK company started by nail artist Charlotte Knight, will launch Caviar Nails this  Spring at Sephora.  The Caviar kits will contain a paint pot and caviar pearls in your choice of black, white or multi.  Simply sprinkle the pearls over the wet polish and let it set for a few minutes…

It’s no secret that I am a J. LO fan and Sunday night’s Oscar awards confirmed why.  Jenny was stunning in a  Zuhhair Murad gown.  Hair and makeup were also perfect.

So, after weeks and weeks of my daughter asking me to get her the Sally Hensen’s Salon Effects, she took it upon herself to purchase her own…such an impatient kid.   The process was fairly simple, pick a size for your nail, apply, hold firmly in place for a few seconds, cut and shape.  She chose the Collide-o-Scope design and the entire process took about 20 minutes and lasted about one week.  I actually think it would’ve lasted longer, but my daughter likes to pick at her nails…
