This shampoo is a gentle, sulfate-free clarifying shampoo.  If your hair has been weighed down, limp and lifeless lately, chances are its due to product buildup.  This is a good option to wash out all the gunk from your scalp and hair.  Ingredients include Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Grapefruit Oil and Lemongrass Extract that help soothe and cleanse without stripping the hair.

I try to clarify my hair once a month and have used a few clarifying shampoos, both natural and not-so-natural.  I liked the feel of my hair after using this shampoo.  My strands were clean, but not squeaky clean, which I like.  The grapefruit scent is an added bonus!

All types of hair can use this shampoo, with the following recommendations:

• straight and wavy hair – every day
• curly hair – 1 to 3 times per month
• kinky hair – once a month
